A little history
Boxster arrived at the reasonable hours of 5 a.m. on May 13, 2003 and spent the bulk of his first day on the ground. All legs and pointy ears, since we named him Boxster, we said he was "parked." By day 2 he was ready for some photo opts.
Like so many young males, Boxster enjoys a bit of beer. Perhaps not so common, he also enjoys dressing up.
| At 3-1/2 months(at right), Boxster was a trusting colt and when he showed an interest in his mother's equipment, we took the opportunity to introduce him to the saddle pad and saddle.
Far right, as a yearling we thought maybe we should have called him Peter Built or Mac.

As a tall lad, Boxster seemed to mature more slowly, so we did not start him under saddle until the end of February 2006 (photo right).
His dam is a Seattle Slew granddaughter. He got his height and sweetness from her. Fortunately, he got feet, big bone and a shorter back from The King of Hearts.
Boxster is pictured at left in June 2005 at age 2 year and approxiamtely 1300 lbs.
